"This school is 1 unit of a P.W.A. docket which included 18 new school buildings and repairs to 35 others. Its site is large and provides ample playground space. The building accommodates 480 pupils. It has a central auditorium-gymnasium flanked by 2 wings containing 8 standard classrooms, a kindergarten, a library, domestic science room, and shop. The traditional design is carried out in red brick with stone trim. It was completed in February 1937 at a construction cost of $228,275 and a project cost of $251,092."

"The historic Amphitheater in Ottawa Park was WPA constructed in 1935-1936. It is located on a sloping piece of ground surrounded by trees in a bird sanctuary section of the park. The 500 tons of stone came from a quarry near Whitehouse. The small scrubs and trees planted then are now nearly 100 feet tall! Over the years the seating area has been rebuilt, a handicap accessible ramp added, a stage with backdrops, electricity, and a storage facility. It holds about 750 people. It is the only venue for free open air concerts in this area."

The historic Outhwaite Homes public housing complex in Cleveland, Ohio was constructed with the assistance of federal Public Works Administration (P.W.A.) funds. "The Outhwaite Homes Estates, along with the Cedar Apartments and Lakeview Terrace, were the first three public housing projects to be completed in Cleveland. The three projects were also among the first in the nation to receive approval and funding from the federal government's newly-created Public Works Administration in 1935. Outhwaite's brick Art Deco buildings, grouped around grassy courtyards, originally contained 557 units."

The Civil Works Administration (CWA) provided labor to undertake numerous improvements to Grace Sprenger Memorial Park, the park at the spring along Beaver Creek in Amherst, Ohio.

The Parma Reservoir, also known as the The Parma Heights Water Facility for The City of Cleveland, "is the 1933-37 Parma Reservoir. A 326 x 306-ft. earth-covered concrete tank, technically referred to as a basin, with a Gothic-style facade resembling a 14th-century English castle hold the 23-million gallon reservoir. ...like many Depression-era public works projects, labor was provided by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) as a New Deal unemployment relief measure."

Football stadium constructed 1938-1939 by the Public Works Administration and the Works Progress Administration for $246,000. Currently home of the Massillon Washington High School football team.

The Pearlbrook Station post office in Cleveland was constructed in 1935-6 with funds provided by the Treasury Department. The building, which houses an example of New Deal artwork, was designed by Julius Boenisch.

Cleveland's historic Pearlbrook Station post office houses one of many examples of New Deal artwork commissioned for northeast Ohio post offices by the federal Treasury Section of Fine Arts. The mural, "Ore Docks and Steel Mills," was completed by Richard Zoellner in 1938.

"Constructed as a post office in 1938, the Donald J. Pease Federal Building now houses the U.S. Court of Appeals. The red brick building is located at the northeast corner of Liberty and North Elmwood streets."

This is a suspension-type bridge with steel cables by 1936 by the Works Progress Administration (WPA). A restoration was completed in 2017 and was reopened for foot traffic. It is the only WPA project remaining in Fairfield County.

The Madison Township ("Poasttown Elementary") school building in Middletown, Ohio was built as a New Deal project in 1937, with funds from the Public Works Administration (PWA). The PWA provided a $39,272 grant for the project, whose total cost was $95,167. The building is now privately owned. PWA Docket No. OH 1495

According to the park's website: "1940 Jack Zedaker leads boys from the National Youth Administration in building two shelter houses (Zedaker Pavilion and the Shelter House at “Indian Spring” near Gutknecht Entrance), four footbridges, planting of trees, construction of trail markers, improvements to trails, and the creation of a parking area. 18,000 maple trees planted, 50,000 willows along Yellow Creek for erosion control."
