The Womans Club building is an outstanding example of Pueblo Revival Architecture built of adobe. The ceiling in the unique round room, which is completely free standing, contains viga logs in an intricate wagon wheel pattern.     Starting in 1937, the federal Works Progress Administration (WPA) constructed approximately 5,830 linear feet masonry curb and gutter in Carrizozo, New Mexico under WPA Official Project # 65-85-1199. Much of it survives today.

    "The Lincoln County Court House in Carrizozo was a product of this time but it is now an annex to the main court house. The Women's Club proudly displays 1939 on its wall, another Pueblo Revival style of architecture.     The old Lincoln County School Library, located on Central Avenue in Carrizozo, New Mexico, was constructed as a federal Works Progress Administration (WPA) project during the Great Depression. The building was dedicated in 1937.
