• City Hall - Sullivan MO
    Sullivan's municipal building was completed by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works in 1937 and served as City Hall, police department, and jail as well as the town's auditorium. While the police department has moved, this New Deal building continues to serve as Sullivan's City Hall as well as a jail and public auditorium and gymnasium. The gymnasium/ auditorium is located on the south side of the building; the jail is on the west side in the basement.  
  • Meramec State Park - Sullivan MO
    Extensive work by the CCC is seen in this park close to the city of St. Louis.  It includes shelters, a stone pump house, stone observation tower,  entrance stone work, and assorted bridges, steps, and walls.  Adjacent to the park are the remains of the CCC company 2728 camp.  The camp and work lasted from 1933-1935.     The post office in Sullivan was constructed by the Treasury Department in 1940.
  • Post Office Mural - Sullivan MO
    The post office contains a 1942 Treasury Section of Fine Arts mural by Lawrence Adams entitled "Saturday Afternoon on Main St." This is a somewhat crowded mural showing people on Main Street in downtown Sullivan at the time the work was produced.  The postal worker related that the work was largely done by students at the University of Missouri at Rolla, but this hasn’t been confirmed.
