- Agricultural Research Center Improvements - Hays KSThe New Deal's Civil Works Administration (CWA) employed 40 men "in making improvements" at what was then known as the Fort Hays Branch of the Kansas Agricultural Experiment Station (now Agricultural Research Center).
- Ellis County Courthouse - Hays KSThe Works Progress Administration built the Ellis County Courthouse in Hays KS. The Moderne courthouse is constructed of yellow brick. The courthouse is still in use. Mann & Co. was the architect of record.
- Fort Hays State University: Larks Park Baseball Stadium - Hays KSThis limestone baseball stadium, built by the Works Progress Administration in 1940, is currently owned by the city of Hays but operated by Fort Hays State University. It has been upgraded several times over the years and is now home to the Fort Hays State baseball team.
- Frontier Historical Park - Hays KSThe Civilian Conservation Corps Veteran's Camp 1778 comprised of World War I Veterans constructed a state park on the former grounds of the Fort Hays Military Reservation in Hays, Kansas. The camp was located along the banks of Big Creek and the enrollees occupied buildings the present-day Fort Hays State University campus. The veterans constructed roads, bridges, and picnic areas that included limestone shelters and fire pits. The campers built a small dam in Big Creek to create a recreation area for fishing and boating.
