Commerce Sites

The historic City Hall building in Commerce, Georgia was constructed with federal funds as the community's post office ca. 1936. The building housed an example of New Deal artwork, which has since been relocated.

Section of Fine Arts mural entitled "Early Mail Service and the Construction of Railroads" painted in 1938 by Philip Guston. It has been restored and moved from the original post office to the new one.
