Replacing the original Richardsonian masterpiece that mysteriously burned in 1939, this civic style building with classic elements and artnouveau bas reliefs, contains multiple styles, as if it was built by committee...it was!" This building now serves as the Administrative Offices for the Redlands Police Department. The new city hall is located directly across the street.

    Arnold Brasz created four wood parquetry murals depicting the "History of Redlands" by theme: "Hispanics," "Orchard," "Pioneers" and "Harvesting." The murals were created in 1940 with funding from the WPA Federal Art Project. They are located in the Redlands Historical Museum.

    This San Bernardino branch of the Mission San Gabriel Arcangel was built around 1830 and underwent a number of function and ownership changes in the ensuing century. In 1925 the County of San Bernardino took over the property. It was restored in 1937 by the WPA assisted by the San Bernardino County Historical Society.
