    The former New Miami School #2 building in New Miami, Ohio, was constructed as a New Deal project with funds from the Public Works Administration (PWA), in 1936-7.   • School (no longer extant) - Mattawamkeag ME
    A former Mattawamkeag school building opened in 1939. Constructed as a New Deal project, the facility was built with Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The PWA provided a $27,000 grant for the project, whose total cost was $59,264. Unfortunately, "the solid two-story brick structure was leveled by fire in May 1971." PWA Docket No. ME 1121
  • Spencer State Hospital Clinic (demolished) - Spencer WV
    The Public Works Administration funded the construction of a new clinic, part of the State Hospital for Mental Diseases (also known as the Spencer State Hospital for Mental Diseases) in Spencer, Roane County. The addition was built in 1937 and was a five-bed facility. The State Hospital for Mental Diseases closed in July 1989 and demolished in 2005. The condition of the structure is unknown to the Living New Deal.
  • World's Fair Parking Lot (no longer extant) - Flushing NY
    The Works Progress Administration (WPA) constructed a "seventy-five-acre parking field ... for the city north of the World's Fair grounds." 1,950 men worked on the parking lot project, which occupied land north of Roosevelt Ave. The site was on what is now the parking lot for Citi Field.
  • Library (demolished) - Linden NJ
    The Public Works Administration (PWA) provided a grant for construction of the the former library in Linden, New Jersey. The building was completed in 1939, and was demolished in 2010 to make way for the "modern facility behind it on the same East Henry Street site." PWA Docket No. NJ 1212
