The historic municipal auditorium, a.k.a. Seacrest Auditorium, in Zanesville, Ohio was constructed as a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project that started in 1937. Various construction and financial delays hindered completion until 1940.

The Civil Works Administration (CWA) conducted a project to improve the building and grounds of the school in Lynch, Nebraska, completed Jan. 1934. Norfolk Daily News, Jan. 10, 1934: "The interior of the school building has been repainted, revarnished and redecorated. The hill behind the building has been removed so that the school grounds will look nicer and can be landscaped. A deep trench has been dug around the grounds to lay open all winter and catch moisture. In the spring it is to be planted to shrubbery and trees."

The Anthony Township Building in Anthony Township, Pennsylvania was originally constructed as a consolidated school by the Work Projects Administration (WPA). The semi-fireproof brick and tile building featured "four large class rooms, health room, boys and girls inside flush sanitary toilets, drinking fountains," among other things.

The gorgeous community center in Pence, Wisconsin, located on the south side of Trezona St. between Maple St. and Cedar St., was constructed by the Work Projects Administration (WPA) in 1941. Lake Shore Visitor: "Last year, through a WPA project, a community center was erected. It contains a large gymnasium, a library, a meeting room, garage, and fire-fighting equipment space. A recreational program providing entertainment facilities for all age groups has been established."

The Works Progress Administration (WPA) constructed the entrance steps at the northeast entrance to Percy Warner Park in Nashville, Tennessee, at Belle Meade Blvd. "Sumner Trails Chapter of Tennessee Trails will lead a 3.5 mile loop hike on the Warner Woods Trail in Percy Warner Park in Nashville, rated moderate. This hike features the Luke Lea heights overlook and the recently restored iconic steps (originally built by the WPA back in the 1930's) of the beautiful original park entrance."

The historic post office in Pawnee City, Nebraska houses an example of New Deal artwork: "The Auction," an oil-on-canvas mural painted by Kenneth Evett in 1942. "Kenneth Evett studied with Henry Varnum Poor and George Biddle. Besides "The Auction" at Pawnee City, Evett painted two others in Colorado and Kansas. He taught at Cornell from 1948 to 1979, returning to Nebraska in 1954 to paint three murals in the rotunda of the State Capitol in Lincoln. Evett was not happy with the subject matter of the mural that he was asked to paint in Caldwell, Kansas: that of cowboys driving cattle. In...

The historic post office in Pawnee City, Nebraska was constructed in 1940 with federal Treasury Department funds. The building, which houses New Deal artwork inside, is still in service.

Built by the Works Progress Administration as a picnic shelter in 1937, still used for that purpose.

From Missouri Armories: The Guard's Home in Architecture and History by Robert Wiegers: "The Pierce City Armory was built in 1939 as a WPA project, but the design combines features of castellated architecture with the art deco/WPA style and use of reinforced concrete." The building sustained damage during a 2003 tornado and was rechristened the Ray Carver Building. It now houses local government offices.

The Works Progress Administration (WPA) constructed a community building near Washington Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. The building is located at the northeast corner of 30th St. and Lasalle St., and appears to be part of a church property.
