This pedestrian bridge over the Arroyo Seco flood control channel within the Rose Bowl parking lot was constructed by the WPA in 1935-36.

"In 1935, the WPA came to Laneville, a crossroads community in southern Rusk County, and began building rock fences, bridges and other needed projects."

The WPA provided labor for the construction of the Knox County Courthouse and a school in Benjamin, Texas. The courthouse, built in stone in the Moderne style by the firm of Voelcker & Dixon, was constructed at a cost of $95,337.

The Old Borger post office, located at the northeast corner of 5th Ave. and Diehl Streets, is now privately owned. The Hutchinson County Herald stated that the PWA allotted $53,900 in funding the the building.

The Mexia Weekly Herald reported on March 29, 1935 that work on two PWA projects in the town of Fairfield, Texas had begun, including "the water and sewer system for the newly incorporated town."

The Meridian Tribune reported in Februady 1935 that the PWA was in the final stages of approving a street paving project in Clifton that was expected to begin "not later than March 1."

In 1935, the Meridian Tribune reported that a "contract for re-modeling the Bosque county courthouse and constructing a one-story addition was awarded ... to O.K. Johnson, Waco contractor, for $44,113.00." In 1934, the clock tower and hipped roofs were replaced with a flat concrete roof as a result of the Works Progress Administration (WPA) project. That renovation also resulted in a one-story addition to the west side of the courthouse. A restoration project in 2005-2007 removed the addition and restored the clock tower and roof to give the courthouse back its former Gothic style.

The Suffolk County News reported that between 1935 and 1936, the WPA "improved recreational facilities in following State Parks : Sunken Meadow, Heckscher, Wildwood, Orient Point and Hither Hills..."

The Argos Izaak Walton League clubhouse and attendant (former) fish hatchery were constructed by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) in 1935 to 1937. The fish hatchery in Argos, Indiana had "a capacity of 375,000 fingerlings annually."The facility is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. "This building of glacial stone and the surrounding 17 acres of fishing ponds and structures are a tribute to natural aesthetics, an idea important to the League who made this building their clubhouse. The Argos Izaak Walton League was established in 1929 in response to concern for the conservation of natural resources, fish and wildlife...

The Washington Park Arboretum is a public park, run as a joint project between the University of Washington and the Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation. "In 1933, the Public Works Administration did some rough clearing in Washington Park, but it was not until 1935 that real progress began... Governor Martin proposed the Arboretum as a candidate for additional Works Progress Administration (WPA) funding to Washington Senator Lewis B. Schwellenbach, who approached the WPA with the suggestion. The Arboretum was designated an official project of the WPA, which authorized the employment of 800 workers at a cost of $1.5 million.
