Description
In 1938, the U.S. Treasury Department funded the construction of a post office in Laguna Beach, CA.
“The small, Mediterranean building served as a post office for only a few years due to a bad location and access problems for locals. The building was ultimately converted to retail space and continues to stand today” (Epting, Chpt. 5).
As of January 2023, the structure was for sale.
