Hello today is 12/1/2020! I attended Jenkintown Elementary and wonder if Evan Kalish happens to know what happened to the WPA wall mural of G. Washington that was on the second floor’s original lunch room? The school has expanded over the years, and no one in the administration knows what happened to the mural. Contacted the Old York Rd historical society and they knew that the mural had been moved to the school in the 1930s from the U.S. Post Office in Jenkintown, but they also do not know where it was moved to or maybe sold. I attended school with Edith Kalish and wonder if Evan is her relative or son/daughter. Thank you for any info! Pam 🙂
