A waterworks construction project in Watford City, North Dakota was undertaken during the Great Depression with the aid of federal Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The PWA supplied a $28,000 loan and $11,400 grant for the project, whose total cost was $39,942. Work occurred between October 1935 and July 1936.
