Description
A waterworks construction project in Spencer, South Dakota was undertaken during the Great Depression with the aid of federal Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The PWA supplied a $20,000 loan and $8,279 grant; the total cost of the project was $29,012. Work occurred between August 1935 and March 1936.
