[The newspaper] Big Timber Pioneer reported in late 1935 that: “The first works progress project in Flathead county is to consist of renewing 6,600 feet of water mains, which will complete the city water system, according to Mayor Bruckhauser of Kalispell. The WPA will furnish the labor and the city the materials.”Source notes
