Description
A waterworks construction project in Hickory, North Carolina was undertaken with the aid of federal Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The PWA supplied a $126,000 loan and $43,180 grant toward the $156,413 total cost of the project. Work occurred between May 1935 and April 1936.
