Description

The Vignes Street bridge is a large concrete viaduct carrying railroad traffic to Los Angeles’s Union Station.  It was funded by the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works, i.e., Public Works Administration (PWA), during the Great Depression and completed in 1938.

The bridge is still in use today.
