Description
“The small town of Leith in Grant County benefited from a WPA project to level the dirt streets. Much WPA work was done with hand tools. Men shoveled dirt and rock, split rocks, and hauled building materials by hand. Hand work required more employees to complete a job.” (ndstudies.gov)
