Description
A large-scale street improvement project in Island Park, New York was undertaken during the Great Depression with the aid of federal Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The PWA supplied a $143,750 loan and $56,682 grant; the total cost of the project was $200,352. Construction occurred between June 1935 and December 1935.
