Description
A substantial road improvement project in Huron, South Dakota was undertaken during the Great Depression with the aid of federal Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The PWA supplied a $53,000 loan and $43,363 grant for the project, whose total cost was $86,778. Work occurred between October 1938 and September 1939.
