Description

The Works Progress Administration (WPA) improved a segment of Sherrier Place NW, from Chain Bridge Road to Potomac Avenue.

The WPA graded this road, and also prepared it for pavement by putting in a foundation of recycled road material (e.g., concrete, rock, macadam).
