Description
The original sewer system and water treatment facility for the town of Harrington, Delaware were constructed with federal Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The PWA supplied a $106,180 loan and $28,000 grant toward the project, whose total cost was $121,289. Work occurred between July 1934 and February 1935. The treatment plant is no longer in use.
