Description
The school superintendant said that in 1939:
“During the past year a considerable amount of repair work has been done. In addition to the work done at Town expense, the N. Y A. has done painting and varnishing at the High School building. A summary of the more important improvements is as follows:
All windows not provided with storm sash, also outside door at the High School, fitted with all metal weatherstrip, guaranteed for the life of the building; completion of inside paint and varnish job throughout High School; fence around Village school lot, and a considerable amount of grading on the grounds. At the Station: new steel ceilings, new new curtains and a complete paint and varnish job in the school room.”
