Description
What is now the Harpursville Junior-Senior High School, located at 54 Main St., was constructed with the aid of federal Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The PWA provided a $48,800 grant for the project, whose total cost was $182,547. Construction occurred between Mar. 1935 and Mar. 1936. The facility has since been expanded into a larger educational campus.
