Description
The Mexia Weekly Herald reported on March 29, 1935 that work on two PWA projects in the town of Fairfield, Texas has begun, including “a new wing for the public school, for which a loan and grant were obtained.”
Exact location and current status of the school unknown to the Living New Deal.

31.726906, -96.164545 The Freestone Historical Society provided the below link that has a picture of the 1935 school. They informed me the school was torn down to make way for the current Elementary School which is at the coordinates I provided.
