Santa Clara Post Office – Santa Clara CA

Description

Construction of the Santa Clara post office was completed in 1935 during the Great Depression with the assistance of funds provided by the federal government.

It is also the site of Michael von Meyer’s 1937 wood carving, “Early Pioneers,” available for view in the library.

We welcome contributions of additional information on any New Deal project site.
