Description
A sanitary sewer construction project in Williams, Arizona was undertaken during the Great Depression with the aid of federal Public Works Administration (PWA) funds. The PWA supplied a $50,000 loan and $34,364 grant; the total cost of the project was $83,792. Work occurred between December 1936 and September 1937.
