Description
The federal Work Projects Administration worked to improve Sand Street in Port Chester, New York during the 1930s. One project, which cost $5,118 (of which the WPA contributed $2,911) was described by the WPA in its project rolls: “Install drains, manholes, and catch basins, replace pavement and curbs, and perform” other related work.
