This was located at St. Albans Bay. The Bay school was located behind the town offices. It is 3 miles from St Albans City. The mark on the map is actually the city elementary school. I was in the first graduating class there. I know that the school closed in the 1970s or 80s when all St. Albans Town students moved to the present building on South Main Street in St. Albans City.
The SOAR school now uses the former Bay School. It later was named the Callaghan Elementary School before it closed. There have been additions to the original building, but it is still standing.
