Philadelphia Zoo Reptile House Sculpture – Philadelphia PA

Description

The black granite sculpture “Python,” which can be found to the right-front of the entrance to the Philadelphia Zoo’s Reptile House, was created by Aaron Ben-Shmuel and was completed and dedicated in 1940.

“The sculpture is approximately 18 inches x 31 inches x 34 inches with the base being approximately 12 inches in height.”
