Quarry Entrance Road Drainage Ditch Bridge
The federal Works Progress Administration (WPA) conducted work at Dinosaur National Monument, especially at and near the Dinosaur Quarry. WPA workers constructed a “535′ long drainage ditch about 8′ wide at bottom and 12′ wide at top. The walls are large, coursed, rock-faced, mortared sandstone blocks.” A bridge carrier Quarry Entrance road across the ditch. A verbal source on-site believes the bridge was also a New Deal construction project.
