Description

The Works Progress Administration (WPA) completed the construction of a pumping plant at the Boysen Reservoir in the vicinity of Shoshoni, Fremont County. The facility provided water supply. The exact location and condition of the pumping plant is unknown to the Living New Deal.

The Boysen Dam & Power Plant was rebuilt in 1946-1948 through a joint program of the Bureau of Reclamation and the US Army Corps of Engineers, and is still in service today.
