    I would need to double-check, but I don’t think “Threshing in Kansas” is painted on canvas. It looks very much like it is painted directly on the wall.

    It’s on the wall.  I’ve seen it 100’s of times and was always mesmerized when I got to go to the P.O. with my parents or grandparents who explained to me how it came about and all the life changing things that stemmed from FDR’s New Deal programs.
