The historic post office building in downtown New Rochelle, New York “is a Moderne building built in 1937. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 as the result of a Multiple Property Submission that included 148 post office buildings in the state of New York.” (Wikipedia)
The post office was constructed with federal Treasury Department funds and is still in use today.
