“[In] 1941, Buffalo artist Amy Jones painted the 5’6″ by 12′ mural, depicting the sparing of the Glen family during the 1690 Schenectady massacre, a key turning point in the early history of Scotia.” The mural, entitled “The Glen Family Spared by French and Indians – 1690,” was painted under the Section of Fine Arts program.
