Description
Henrietta Shore moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 1930 and painted this mural “Monterey Bay” for the Post Office in 1937 with support from the Treasury Section of Fine Arts.
Unfortunately, the Shore mural is no longer hanging in the post office and its whereabouts are unknown to us.

I’ve looked for this several times and it doesn’t appear to be there (October 2021).
I agree with Kat Morgan – my visit included talking to employees, behind the scenes, and it does not appear to be there.
