“Kennebunkport Harbor, 1825”
The original mural for Kennebunkport was painted in 1941 by Elizabeth Tracy and was entitled “Bathers”. The citizens of Kennebunkport did not like the mural one bit. They raised $1000 from the locals in order to contract Gordon Grant to paint a satisfactory replacement mural in 1945. The is no “official” title for the replacement mural.
