Description
Stuart R. Purser painted “Steamboats on the Mississippi” in 1939 with funding from the Treasury Section of Fine Arts.
“It has been moved to the “new” Finance Station Post Office which is in the old train depot downtown. Hurricane Katrina forced the closure of the original 1930’s post office a few blocks away.”
