On Friday August 17th I was at this location and was told the post office at this location was slated to close in February 2024. Aside from this being a lovely historic building, the access to parking, colleges, small businesses, this would make our town much less walkable, and connected place.
The nearest Post office would be Narberth PA, with limited parking, and with trains and bus service running about once an hour between the two locations, would be crushing to many of us.
Don’t know if a historical designation would help, but I am sure many of my neighbors will be outraged if this plan is carried out.
