I believe, based on memory that WPA had some involvement the construction of the original 5 tennis courts at Perris Hill Park. Originally these were courts numbers one through five. Subsequently, circa late 60’s, early 70’s, the City built two additional courts at each end of the original 5 courts, currently courts No. 1 and 7. The original courts are currently Nos. 2 through 6. Then circa Dec. 2020 the City repurposed courts 1&2 into 8 pickleball courts. See attached photos of pickleball courts 1&2. The Plunge is now named the Jerry Lewis Swim Center and the baseball stadium is Fiscalini Field.
