Park Retaining Wall – Boonton NJ

Description

“Forty [CWA men] are building a retaining wall at the foot of Morris avenue here near the Rockaway River. The plot will be filled with refuse and dirt after the wall is built. Eventually it will become a park.”

The park mentioned is today known as Grace Lord Park.
