Description
Pangborn Park was one of 8,000 parks built, repaired, or improved by the WPA. Today, visitors to Pangborn Park can enjoy tennis courts, a horseshoe court, an athletic field, a picnic shelter, a children’s playground, and an artificial pond.

The “small building” featured in one of the photos was utilized in the winter time for ice skaters to come in and get warm by a fire in the fireplace. The lake at Pangborn Park was used for ice skating in the winter time – back in winters that were much colder than what they are now. The lake would freeze solid.
