Changes include an expansion on the north side (far right in the picture) from the 1960s (when as it happens, my father was Postmaster — that’s how I know)! The north addition was designed as an unobtrusive background for the original Spanish Colonial Revival design.
Sadly, the other change is that massive carved wood front doors went missing. Last I heard, the owner will buy them back if anyone finds the doors. The owner has done a fine job of maintaining the building. For example, the lobby still features a wall of postal boxes, wood trim, original ceiling lamps, and furniture.
