Description

The historic post office building in Kutztown, Pennsylvania housed a New Deal mural that was created with Treasury Department Section of Fine Arts funds. The mural, titled “Rural Route #1,” is an oil-on-canvas work painted by Judson Smith in 1937. The work has since been relocated [to the new post office?].
