Textile Building
Description
The Public Works Administration funded the construction of the North Carolina State University: Nelson Hall in Raleigh NC.
Construction of the Textile Building at North Carolina State College, a fireproof structure of reinforced concrete. Total floor space of 75,000 square feet comprising 7 classrooms and laboratories for all textile processes including special research and microscopic and photographic laboratories. Since the 1990s, the building has housed the university’s Poole College of Management.
