Description
The Civilian Conservation Corps carried out work at Mount Philo State Park near Charlotte VT.
According to the Vermont State Park website, “In the early 1930s a Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) unit was assigned to the mountain. This crew built the current access road, campground, ranger’s quarters, picnic area and summit lodge.”
