is park was repaired and reconfigured after major damage from the tornado of August 11th, 1999. More repairs were completed after the windstorms in the summer of 2020.
I believe my grandfather, Donald G Nowers was the landscape architect for Memory Grove Park.. I am looking for information on to verify this. He was the landscape architect for several other well-known parks, including Three Rivers Park in Pittsburgh, and we would like for him to receive the recognition he deserves.
