Description

A bridge over Barnagat Bay connecting Mantoloking NJ and Brick NJ was built
in 1938 by the Works Progress Administration. It was made of concrete and wood and was used for almost seventy years before being replaced in 2006.

The western section of the bridge was repurposed as a fishing pier and is still used.
A perfect example of the Living New Deal!
