Description

The Houston Independent School District and the Public Works Administration (PWA) erected the Adele Looscan Elementary School in 1936 under PWA project number TEX-1057R. Looscan is still an active elementary school for the Houston ISD.

    I went to Looscan from 1946 to 1952 for my first six grades and then to John Marshall Jr. High and then to Jefferson Davis High School. Is anyone out there still alive that went to school with me? How about the dead ones? Any of yall still out there?
