“This library is located in downtown Olathe next to the post office. It houses the old 1940 mural entitled “The Mail Must Go Through” by Albert T. Reid that was commissioned for the old 1938 Olathe post office.” (flickr)
The mural is located across from the library’s reference desk.

The following are Kansas WPA projects: Wyandotte High School building (still in use), Gardner Lake Bath House, Prairie School in Prairie Village (the WPA school burnt down about 25 years ago, but as I understand it the basement is still in use and the entryway is preserved in the school garden), The Lenexa water tower (in use until the 1980s) has been torn down.
