Lane Tech College Prep High School Auditorium Curtain – Chicago IL

Description

This 43′ x 20′ oil on steel mural was painted as a fire curtain for the auditorium by artist John Walley. It is entitled “Indian Motif” and was installed in 1936 with funding from the WPA’s Federal Art Project. It was restored in 1997.
